Best Moments of 2018
2018 brought too many wonderful memories to count but I do want to recall a few of my personal favorite moments. In chronological order I have listed out our top 2018 picks!
My First Baby Shower!
I still think back to this perfect boho chic baby shower my family and friends threw for me. I could not have imagined it any better. It was like they took my Baby Shower Pinterest board and brought it to life. Still ooooing and aahhing over all the decor that now hangs in Caro's nursery!
My First Maternity Photoshoot
My maternity shoot shot by my brother in this beautiful garden was one of dreams! I felt so beautiful and happy and couldn't have asked for better shots of me during this exciting time!
1 Year Anniversary of
Salty Pink Pineapple!
This was such a huge milestone for me, mainly because my first attempt at blogging back in 2015 flopped. I could not figure out how to make my website pretty, I wasn't posting consistently, it was just not what I hoped or imagined. It was my "first pancake" so to speak. But I could not be prouder of myself for continuing on with sharing my thoughts and ideas through my blog for a whole year and now beyond! This is the start of something so wonderful for me. This is my creative outlet and the support I have received has me excited about creating so much more content for future anniversaries of SPP!
The Bohemian Nursery
I had so much fun decorating and creating Caroline's first room of her life. I got so many compliments on it and made me regain confidence in my decor and design capabilities. It was the icing on the cake when Dream On Me featured it on their blog! See it here.
Caroline E. Odom was born!

Our First Big Collaborations
My Favorite Family Photo Shoot Ever!
at Village Baptist
This meant so much to me as I was raised in churches my entire life and I truly feel like it shaped the woman I am today. Morgan and I want to raise Caroline to know God and love Jesus as we do, and understand how important a relationship is with him. We dedicated her to commit to raising her to be someone passionate about Jesus and, hopefully, one day, impact others to do the same.
Our first Christmas as a little family.
2018 brought the most changes, excitement, and love to my life. It is absolutely a year I will never forget. Listed above are only some of the highlighted moments. I joined some mom groups and created so many connections just from social media and my blog, but also have networked and reached out to new people in my home town as well and created new friendships here too. Becoming a mommy is now the highlight of my entire life and watching my soul mate become the father I always knew he would be has come as a close second. I can't wait to see how our lives transform in 2019 and love sharing it with you all. Thank you for your continued support, comments, likes , messages, I love it and appreciate every single one! Please keep sharing and commenting and all of those great things in this new year. I am hoping this year I can amp up some new inspiration and projects for you all to get excited about and even try yourself!
I always love feedback and appreciate contributions as they come so please reach out to me with ideas or if you even want to meet for coffee I would love it! One of my bigger resolutions for Salty Pink Pineapple for 2019 is networking more locally. My little family loves to travel so send us an invite and we'll be there, doesn't have to be just in Fayetteville area!
If you saw one of my recent posts on Instagram, it was letting you in on the big goal for the Odoms this year which is finding, buying, and creating a first home for ourselves. There were be multiple parts of that journey shared throughout the process and if you have any first time home buyer advice we would love to hear it!
Of course I also am committing to getting fit in 2019 and getting back to pre-baby minus 10-15 more lbs by this summer! That will be another post journey over the next couple of months because there is nothing like having your followers/the world hold you accountable for your commitments and goals! Stick with me as I encounter life changes including food choices (AKA no more Chic Fil A... SO SAD), fitness, mental health, and positive energy because I am a strong believer in you get what you put out.
I hope everyone had a wonderful turn of the new year and I would love to hear your resolutions in the comments! Help me help you! We can keep each other accountable. Let's link up!
