Lately I've been getting back into the groove of things with projects, photos, and planning. When inspiration strikes one of my favorite places to go is Lowe's and roam the paint aisles. Paint makes me so happy, and slapping a new coat of paint on anything can seriously change the dynamic of the object/room whatever it may be that needs sprucing. For me right now, I have a few dressers, tables, and misc. items I'm working on that I can't wait to show you, and when roaming the aisles this time I came across this leaflet by Valspar that immediately made me feel like I was ready to create things. This color palette called "Blushes" has everything I'm inspired by right now for furniture, wall paint, and contrasting colors between the two. Needless to say you will be seeing these colors pop up a lot within my projects over the next couple of weeks. At least until the end of Summer because seasons change and with that brings different moods and tastes, but for now I'm sticking with the light pinks, ivories, and blue-grays.
This is a short post but I wanted to share that if you're ever feeling uninspired I recommend to go to Lowe's or Home Depot and check out their paint aisles. When I feel like I'm in a painting rut, I go there and start collecting new booklets, leaflets, and color pallets they've put out and add them to my idea board. I have stacks of these color pallets but I love them because of the pictures they provide and ideas I can get from them. I have so many great ideas for these different colors, I can't wait to make them real! What colors are you into these days? I've included some pictures below from Style Me Pretty. Definitely some amazing inspiration there! Enjoy!
Surprise candid from yours truly in the studio! :)
