Caroline's First Easter

I am posting these a little late because, well, life.. But we had an adorable little photoshoot on a beautiful afternoon with our best friends and their new little chicks. Caroline did not shy away from the little chirping babies, keep scrolling down to see the surprise attack! She was petting them so sweetly and then all of a sudden grabbed one and held it up for Uncle Kyle to see in his camera. You can see Morgan coming in hot on the right side of that picture because he kept saying he was worried about her getting some chicken disease. He immediately freed the little chick and I assure you no chicks were harmed in the taking of these pictures. :)

We found this cute little spot next to a golf course near our new house out in "the creek" and it was so adorable and quaint I'm sure we'll be coming back for more soon. Caroline had a great first Easter. We gave her her basket early since we were going to be on vacation during the holiday but the Easter Bunny brought her some great stuff before, and on Easter Sunday. She was visited by the Bahama Bunny, which brought her many cute things from the island and fun things to play with while on vacation.

Her Easter basket is very special as it used to be her Daddy's basket when he was little and has his name on it, passed down from her Gigi. The basket had lots of teething toys from Gummee USA, Squeak Eggs and Ducks from Infantino, a pineapple bathing suit from SwimbabieCo, an outfit from Carters, and not pictured was the most important gift, a book called "Jesus Calling, The Story of Easter" which had the true reason for the holiday in an easy to understand story for kids. I can't wait to read it to her as she gets older so she understands why we truly celebrate Easter. Of course she loved everything but out of all that she got the most joy from banging the empty plastic eggs together, go figure right??

Well I hope you all had a wonderful, blessed Easter like we did and thanks for reading!

Let me know what you're kids' first Easter was like in the comments below!
