We are so excited to say that this past Christmas 2017 we revealed that our first little bundle of joy will be a beautiful baby GIRL!
I'm posting late because life is crazy and pregnancy can make it even crazier (as in makes me want to do less lol) but I want to remember everything I can about this journey and this was a big milestone I want to be able to look back on and remember.
We decided to do the reveal at Christmas so we could share it with both of our families. Originally we planned on having a party but waiting for the perfect date to line up around the holidays that worked for all friends and family is quite impossible come to find out. With help from my bestest, Sam, I wrapped a big box, she filled it with the proper balloons, and we let em fly on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with both of our families. It was such an emotional moment of joy, excitement, and terrified realization that there is going to be a little mini-me running around in just a few short months.
As you can see from the pictures, Morgan is a little more terrified initially than overjoyed, but he's super warmed up to the fact now, and has been preparing by practicing his "No's" as much as he can. His biggest fear is that we won't be able to say it to her, and that I will have to be the mean momma, but I think he'll be a perfect dad. We will both admit, we were really thinking it was going to be a boy, we've heard they're easier, and more low maintenance, but we're blessed to have been given a healthy girl who will no doubt be spoiled out of her mind.
It's still months away but we've already begun setting up her nursery and I can't wait to share those pictures with you over the next few months! If anyone out there has any mommy advice for FTM of a little girl please share! Until next time :)
