Hello and happy Friday everyone! I've been a little MIA lately as we have a lot going on around here and I've got some GREAT projects in the works, but I'm so glad to be back and ready to share with you what's been going on!
Morgan and I just joined a church for the first time as a couple about two weeks ago and we could not feel more welcome! I've also joined the choir which I am so excited about because I've sang in a choir since I was in 5th grade all the way through college. I think it's been a big gaping hole in my life the past 7 years since I've graduated and I'm so ecstatic about getting back into it! And one of the best parts is at my first practice I went to they were already gearing up for the Christmas program so we got to sing Christmas carols!! YESS!!
We've also been doing a lot more exploring around my hometown. Finding picturesque places, adventures, and new discoveries has been really exciting and eye opening. We never saw ourselves coming back to Fayetteville but since we've been back we realize it's not so bad. I mean, as North Carolina goes Raleigh and Wilmington are the best and most fun places to live, but Fayetteville is great for families too. The pictures above were shot in a little hidden garden behind a tucked away museum near downtown Fayetteville. It was gorgeous in there and perfect for weddings. We went there on a super sunny day and I wanted to sport some new fall fashion but I'm not going to lie, it was HOT. This Autumn in NC so far has just felt like a muggy extended Summer. It was a perfect day for wearing my new hat I snagged from T.J.Maxx. My selection of fall and winter hats heavily outweigh my spring/summer hats which I think is really ironic. Wool hats are just so stylish! You be seeing many more posts of me in hats over the next few months, sorry not sorry. :)
Other than some fun things coming up that's all that is new for now! Stay tuned for some Fall DIY projects and more furniture flips. Morgan will be doing a blog post for me soon also and I'm so looking forward to it. Have a wonderful weekend!
